The backdrop for this dog ('Truffle') & landscape artwork is ‘Wast Water’ in Wasdale, located in the beautiful Lake District National Park, England.

This stunning original painting depicts a black labrador bitch in a lush natural environment and of course this a real scene and the artist would have photographed the dog here, and later started painting from his own photos!

Steven has lovingly left off no detail from both the dog and the scenery, as usual spending countless hours (and I am sure weeks & months) to perfect his photorealistic style.

This would make a stunning addition to any art collection, labrador enthusiast or Steven Townsend collector. A special gum metal frame has been selected to complement this painting and I am sure you will agree, the painting is breathtaking!
