Nothing quite shocked the hearts of the British public more than the untimely passing of George Michael, on Christmas Day 2016. With this new release ‘Faith,’ JJ Adams gives us his own tongue in cheek tribute to the much loved and missed star.

Like Amy Winehouse (see the print ‘You Know I'm No Good’), George was born nearby in North London area East Finchley and about 11 miles from us. With his clean cut looks and boyish charms, he captured a generation of hearts with Wham in the 1980s and beyond.

JJ gives us a surprising accurate caricature of George and this is one of a series of ‘stamp’ icons from his latest collection. ‘Faith’ is a nod to his iconic 1987 solo album release and his new look of: leather jacket, stubble, sunglasses and a Cross earring - JJ Adams has painted as much as he can.
