Maya is a Russian artist born in the 1960s and with formal training at various art academies in Russia including the 'Leningrad High College of Art and Design' - now the 'Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design' - which is the oldest school of design in the country!
Like the artist 'Inam,' she is known in UK & US galleries for her vivid, rich & colourful paintings of Silver Birch Trees and the natural world, but is equally adept at floral and modern abstract designs.
In 2021 her artwork was seen on the walls of TV host Spencer Kelly’s room, who hosts the popular technology show on BBC News called 'Click.'
