Peter Hildick Born in Twickenham, Middlesex, just after the end of World War II. During its early years was based on any surface that Peter could find. Peter's techniques developed during his school supported and encouraged by his family. The family moved to Bath in Somerset when he was eight and Peter discovered a love of wildlife on the outskirts of the city.
Moving on to secondary education was expected to concentrate on painting and drawing be discouraged. Other drawings that sometimes providing for the families and friends who lost his creative urge and it was not until 1991, after a career in the Royal Navy, during which time he rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, passion by drawing resurfaced. He exhibited successfully in the P.A.W.S. Competition in 1991 and 1992.
With the encouragement of his wife and friends, Peter Hildick prepared and submitted a pencil drawing and watercolor at the P.A.W.S. Competition 1993. Both were accepted and exposed, the first time an artist has had success with two entrances and a special award was presented by a pencil drawing.
In 1994 another pencil drawing was presented (Baby Love), who won the prize for Best Monochrome images Chaffin and North Light Trophy for the overall winner of P.A.W.S. Competition 1994. Based on this success Peter decided to put more emphasis on your drawing.
