Mike Sibley was born in 1948 in the village of Orsett country Essex, England, but at the age of five Mike's father's work took the family north of the city from the sale in the county of Cheshire.
After leaving Leeds College of Art in 1970 Mike met his wife Jenny who bred and exhibited horses and dogs. It was this that turned his talents in that direction. A professional artist for more than 20 years, who often spends more than two hundred hours in a single drawing. Mike Sibley's work is special in its fine detail. The only tool for doing so is the pencil. Not like the color, the color they say in the way. Mike Sibley art sold in many countries, including the United States, Australia and Scandinavia. Her first limited edition print an edition of 50 Irish Water Spaniel copies, which sold out in his office Crufts in just three and a half hours.
