Louise discovered his talent for art and design at the school, where he majored in printing. Having completed a course at the Art Foundation Portsmouth School of Art, embarked on a 4-year Degree in Production Design and Media at the London College of Printing. After his graduation in 1991, he spent several months traveling around Central America, which would have a great influence on their use of the distinctive color and shape.
Returning from his travels, Louise settled in a career in graphic design in London. Although his creative talent was effective in the business world, which was keen to strike as a designer and artist in his own right, and he spent his free time on hand card production and illustrations are sold successfully through a number of outlets including Harvey Nichols. Also, undertook a series of commissions from card companies Christmas. Then, in May 1997 he moved to Hampshire, and decided to go it alone as a full-time professional artist.
Over the past five years, Louise has developed a style of painting that, while significant, is firmly rooted in his conception of substance.
