Kay Boyce was born in Sheffield and studied illustration at the College for four years before starting work as a freelance illustrator for the production of editorial work of Women weekly, Bella, My Weekly, Sunday Express and Woman's Own.
Kay Boyce illustration has led to its work through major book publishers such as Hodder & Staughton, romantic Wordsworth, Mills & Boon and Mandarin. During this period, he also works of art paintings and drawings were sold at various galleries and exhibitions throughout the United Kingdom, including the gallery and the AOI Barbican Center, London, The Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester, Gateway and Bearsteps, as well as galleries in Ludlow Shrewsbury, Chester and Knutsford. His works have also been sold in the USA And Europe. In 1999, Kay exhibited her work in the Sheffield Art Show and get his record prices originals.
He finished a draft RADA which includes 23 portraits of famous actors and actresses work with the final evaluation and approved by Sir Richard Attenborough.
Solomon & Whitehead has published several Limited Edition Prints by Kay work, all of which have been very successful. His smooth style mixed with a beautiful colored paper provide a very attractive quality to the way female subjects Kay and his skilful handling of the tissues adds an extra dimension to these magnificent paintings.
