"If they do not want anyone knowing anything about you not write a song!"
I can not remember where I heard this quote, but also serves to explain how personality is reflected through a song, or in my case, a painting contest.
I am naturally a shy person and find it difficult to express my thoughts verbally. When I'm put on the spot and asked to explain my work, usually end up ruining a sound, later cursing myself for my lack of oral skills. My true personality manifests itself through my paintings.
Many of my paintings on good and evil, innocence and malevolence. When I was a child I remember believing what a wonderful place and happy world. I loved to meet other people in other countries and wanted to visit them all. Of course, now I realize things are not as I once imagined, and once the distant places where I wanted to be as they are not as far; That is actually on my door. People who wanted to meet are locked in a bitter hatred of each other, divided by race or religion. The world is a place where innocent people pay the highest price. It affects me deeply. It's like living in the Garden of Good and Evil. I can not ignore it, for what they represent in the form of these images innocent. Leave the person to look for my paintings and choose what you want to see, the innocence or malevolence-'good' or 'bad'!
Above all else I am, and will always be an eternal optimist. Optimism is one of the greatest gifts we have. When I think about it, I think of the song 'Fields of Gold' by the letter Sting-Summarizing the above!
These two opposing juxtapositions finally explain many of my paintings. Look at the titles that have malevolent, mostly poor cats. For me are representations of evil. However, at first glance, they appear to exude optimism. The wide eyes cats and dogs are always looking and petrified representations of the innocent. You can choose to see these paintings in the manner you want. See love and happiness or death and the devil, it does not matter so long as you see something and connect with her.
This is where I draw a connection between these paintings and my abstract paintings. I want you to see what you see! You get the most out of a painting, if it connects with you. When you look at an abstract painting, one can see nothing, or you can see everything, it is good for you or not! For me, this simple philosophy sums up what is art and what is not, whether you like it or not! My paintings are my soul, and I hope, honest!
