David Laity is an Australian artist who believes that the important things: inspiration, passion, perseverance and dedication can not be taught but must come from within.
David Laity of the work focuses on the sensuality. It is inspired by the model or in his muse and wife, Regina, these are the images that most passionately. David acknowledges that the success comes from the painting which we firmly believe. 'I paint what I like. I like the sensuality and beauty of the feminine form. My works are a celebration of love and intimacy. I am trying to show that sexuality is something that can and should be held. '
David's work remains highly sought after by collectors throughout Australia. David is currently working on his next solo exhibition. Born on June 27, 1958 in Wangaratta, Victoria.
1963-83 Educated in Benalla. David complete motor mechanic apprenticeship. Exit mechanics to assume cartoons, created the comic strip "Rat Race", which states that every day for eight years. David develops their cartoons only framework to include full color and work.
David and Regina celebrate the birth of his daughter, Yvette Remy. David serigraph wins first gold medal at the Australasian Print Screen Awards.
