I was born in 1973 and grew up in Pinner, which is a leafy suburb of north London. When I was a child I loved all the 'Arts' and I knew that eventually I would like to pursue a career or make paint. I used to copy the artists on television and send regularly in the paintings in the hope that they sample. I particularly like to draw plants and animals and spend many hours in my back yard draw flowers of the family and cats.
I started my formal training at Middlesex University in London, where he completed a course at the Foundation for Art and Design. Then proceeded to the University of Central England in Birmingham to study for a degree in Printed Textiles.
I graduated with honors in 1996 and moved to Bournemouth for my first professional job as a designer at Monkwell textile fabrics. After two years of experience useful study landed a job with Osborne & Little London in the design of wallpapers and upholstery fabrics. Working for this prestigious and well-known supply company was fantastic and I learned how to express myself through color, texture and pattern.
In 2000, I took the bold step of becoming a freelance artist and illustrator to pursue my first love, painting. My work has been commissioned for publication as greeting cards, children's books, prints, posters and stationery, while my artwork has been displayed in several galleries throughout the United Kingdom.
